バイクを修理に出していた時に 店から帰宅するにもラッシュアワーでGrab も捕まりにくく、そして値段もアップ・・あっ！地下鉄で帰ろう！ と思い立って久々に乗ってみました。自宅の最寄り駅まで数駅、乗車時間も約10分。運よくすぐに電車も来たので重い荷物を抱えて乗りました。以前乗ったときの印象は「騒がしい」でした。だけれど今回は帰宅時間ということでとても混んでいたせいか？ 意外にも静か。電車の壁に「大声での会話は×」「ゴミ捨て禁止」というパネルがあったので驚きました。驚くことでもないけれど、あぁみんな守っているのね、、と。
下車してから自宅までは徒歩20分ちょっと。雨が降らなければ問題ないけれど、歩きやすい歩道部分が少ないので やはり機会は減りそうです。
ちなみに、切符は買わずにマスターカードでタッチ決済OK のカードであれば、タッチで改札を通れるので 便利でした。（Visa も大丈夫なのか？未確認です。）
I took the subway for the first time in a while because my motorbike was being repaired. It was the evening rush hour, so the train was quite crowded, but surprisingly quiet. I noticed signs on the wall saying “No Littering” and “No Loud Talking,” so perhaps people are making an effort to follow those rules.
I had arrived at my nearest station for 10mins. From there, it was a little over a 20-minute walk home. Since some parts of the route were not good,so the footing was uneven, I feel that public transportation usage is unlikely to increase significantly anytime soon...
Anyway,I was able to pass through the ticket gate by tapping my Mastercard.
